He is currently coaching his daughters 6th grade traveling team and enjoys seeing their improvement. Coach Miller on District 281 Basketball: "I grew up in this area watching admiring the great players from Robbinsdale, Armstrong and Cooper. A favorite memory was when Robbinsdale made it to the state finals, Cooper took 3rd in the state and Armstrong made it to the section finals in the same year (1975). The tradition is strong in Dstrict 281 basketball and I feel honored to be a part of it." When not teaching or coaching, Coach Miller likes to spend time at Leech Lake with his family, fishing and boating. "Luckily my wife and kids love the game and the high school atmosphere. Without their support it would be impossible to be successful at this endeavor." |
