Dean Larsen FRESHMAN Coach
Coach Larsen graduated from Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg High School in 1988.  Larsen then went to Willmar (now Ridgewater) Community College earning an associate of arts degree in 1990.  He then transferred to the University of Minnesota-Morris earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994.  Prior to joining the Armstrong staff,  he taught at East Central (Sandstone) High School,  Cooper and Brooklyn Center High School.

This is Coach Larsen's third year with the Falcon basketball ninth grade team.  In the past he has served as an assistant football coach and as baseball coach for the Falcons.  He guided the Brooklyn Center Centaur baseball team to a conference championship as a head coach in the '97-'98 school year.  Additionally,  Larson worked with the New Hope Park and Recreation department,  working with many current Falcon athletes.

Coach Larsen is married to Cooper graduate Tonya LeBrun ('88).  They reside in Brooklyn Park with their two son, Maxwell age four and two year old Richard.  Max and Ricky are avid hoops fans and wish the Falcons basketball team lots of luck this year.
